Build your own dike
Those who will not build dikes, must leave!

That is the old word of saying in the marsh. The history of dike building are told in the exhibition, and in the cafe, you can try to build your own dike.

Could your dike withstand the flood? What type of dike is the strongest?

"Wrestling" with the crabs of the Wadden Sea
The Wadden Sea is full of Crabs!. Try to hold one from our open aquaria.

Are you afraid of the crabs? No need to! - they are probably more afraid of you!

Grab them with your forefinger and thumb where the shield is widest. and squeeze a little. Now you have good hold on the crab, and its claws can not reach you!

There are plenty of possibilities for experiences on your own.


Rent our activity cart with fishing tools, binoculars and activity-folder, and enjoy yourselve at the "Mandø Ebbevej".
