Marco Brodde (with artist talk at 11.00 and 14.00)

See how art is made! Meet artist Marco Brodde when he opens his exhibition at the Wadden Sea Centre. Marco will give two artist talks, one at 11.00 and one at 14.00, where he will talk about his exhibition. In addition, he will be in our café where he will be working in an ‘open’ workshop on a large sketch.

Kaer.mik ved Vibeke Thyssen

Kaer.mik is a small local ceramic workshop. All ceramics are hand-moulded and made in stoneware clay. See more on Instagram @kaer.mik

DJ. Artwork

DJ. Artwork is a universe of pastels. The art is created by hand with pastel chalk, and all posters and cards are designed based on original works. The joy of nature and small everyday moments shines through, preferably with a commentary on the times we live in.

Tove Lind

Hand-made ceramics in stoneware and porcelain. My designs are simple and functional and in the many years I have worked with ceramics, I have immersed myself in many different techniques: sgrafitto, coloured clay, decals and not least glazes. The decorations range from organic motifs to graphic patterns.

Vester Vedsted Vingård

Vester Vedsted Vingård is home to a vineyard, a distillery, a shop selling our own products and our restaurant.

Nadieh Art

And my art is under the name Nadieh art. I have been living in Denmark for 2 and a half years, in the beautiful Wadden Sea area. I came to live here from Holland with my family and hope to establish myself here as an artist. For me, the best place to be anywhere in the world is nature. I am rebuilding my connection with nature and in this endless learning process I try to capture small moments of this wonder on canvas.

Minder - Vintage & Genbrug

Minder - Vintage & Genbrug is a small shop in Øster Vedsted just outside of Ribe selling unique hand-picked second-hand goods.

At the market, I will bring a selection of recycled goods that are either made from natural materials or inspired by nature. For example, beautiful old illustrations of animals and flowers, baskets for foraging, clay bowls and dishes for serving, vases and much more.

Vadehavsspirits

Vadehavsspirits is a spirits company consisting of eight childhood friends from Toftlund. Eight men who have been together for over 40 years and who decided to start a company together a few years ago.

They have always loved gin and they have always loved the Wadden Sea region. That's why they started producing gin with ingredients that also grow in the Wadden Sea. Since then, they've added four more gins. They also have three delicious liqueurs and a brand new vermouth.

Ribe bryghus

We brew 2x1000 litres at a time and the fermentation and storage time is approximately 6 weeks. The number of storage tanks therefore allows for an annual capacity of around 100,000 litres, or 200,000 bottles. However, a large part of the beer is bottled in kegs and served in Café Remisen or sold to our customers.
