Koresand - feel the nothingness for Mother's Day
Koresand is a high sand dune of approximately 20 km2, located southwest of Mandø. A more barren and desolate place in Denmark is hard to imagine! A high sand dune is neither a sea nor an island, but something in between. The difference lies in the vegetation, or rather the lack thereof, because few or no plants grow on a high sand dune. Experience the desert-like Koresand when we drive the tractor bus "Havørnen" over Mandø and on to Koresand.
