We start the tour at the Wadden Sea Centre and then walk 700 metres down to Ebbevejen. Ebbevejen is the old road to Mandø and is currently only used by the tractor bus. Down by the mudflats, the nature guide will tell us about the storm surge column we encounter, as well as the dykes and the UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Wadden Sea animals are adapted to a life of great contrasts. They must be able to live with large fluctuations in water cover, take care not to be eaten by predators, make sure they get enough to eat, etc. This requires good adaptations and the nature guide will talk about this along the way.

The nature guide will bring garden forks and nets so we can catch the animals and watch them.

This tour is offered in Danish and English.
