Experience Mandø - a tidal island
The Wadden Sea Center organizes many trips to Mandø, where you can experience the special atmosphere and the absolutely fantastic nature. The trip to the island must be done according to the tide, as the road to the island is not always passable.
Mandoe Oyster (5 km)
Join us on an oyster trip in the Wadden Sea National Park – the trip goes to Mandø. The distance to the oyster beds may vary, but is approximately 5 km in total. We will meet at the Wadden Sea Center for an introduction. Then you will drive in your own cars to Mandø, where we will collect oysters. The trip is over Låningsvejen - a road that is flooded at high tide.
