From the stop on Mandø we walk approx. 3 km along the dike and out over the seabed to the seal bank, where "Jørgens Lo" - a water channel approx. 300 meters wide - separates us from the seal sandbank. The seal bank is one of the largest breeding banks in the Wadden Sea National Park. The nature guide brings telescopes so we can get "very close" to the seals, without disturbing them in their natural behavior. The most curious of the seals may come close, in the water right in front of us...
All participants must be able to walk at least 6 km without difficulty. On this trip you will walk further than on our Seal Safari (in your own car).
