Join us on a kayak trip in the Wadden Sea and experience the National Park and the world heritage from a completely new angle. We will meet at the Wadden Sea Center where you will receive an introduction to today's trip and be given equipment (swimming vest, anorak and possibly wet suit). From the Wadden Sea Center you drive in your own cars to Råhede vade, where you meet the nature guide again. We put the kayaks in the water and sail a round trip of approx. 4 km, where the nature guide talks about the Wadden Sea and the animal and plant life we meet along the way. We come through some of the small rivers, which are tidal channels that run through the marsh. If we hit the tide just right, we sail with the tidal current in through the lee and out with the tidal current again. The trip requires a general. good physical shape, but no experience with kayaking. If the weather does not permit a kayak trip (too much wind or too little water), you will be contacted about cancellation before the trip. Bring clothes that may get wet as well as swimwear to wear under a possible wetsuit. There are also bathing shoes/rubber boots/shoes that may get wet and muddy.
