Koresand - feel the nothingness

Koresand is a sandbank of approx. 20 km2, located southwest of Mandø. A more barren and desolate place in Denmark is hard to imagine! A sandbank is not a sea and not an island, but something in between. A sandbank and an island have in common, that you can sail all the way around them at high tide. The difference lies in the vegetation, or rather the lack of it, because few or no plants grow on a high sand.
