Hanna Kurz is a 22 year old self-taught artist from Germany. Her connection to Ribe is her older sister who lives here. Hanna works mainly with watercolor and ink and creates motifs full of stories, imagination, humor and depth. In addition to her postcards and art prints on watercolor paper, she paints new small originals for each market, which are completely unique. The digital world has no place in her studio: Everything is handmade and she loves finding new forms of expression for her art.

Handcrafted wooden products are made in various shapes and sizes – from decorative figurines to bowls. Much of the work is carried out using reclaimed oak from Ringborgen. The bowls are available in several sizes and each one is unique.

Other types of wood are also used. The latest project involves creating faithful replicas of wooden bowls from the Viking Age, based on finds from Hedeby.

The products combine traditional craftsmanship with historical inspiration and a focus on the origin of the materials.
