Oystertour

Collect and taste oysters from the Nationalpark

With our experienced guides we go out into the endless expanses of the seabed, searching for oysters. The nature guide chooses the day's destination based on the tide level and safely guides you to an area with oysters. Along the way you will have the opportunity to taste fresh oysters straight from the Wadden Sea, while the nature guide shares his knowledge of the area's special landscape.

Experience Mandø oysters , Oysters and bonfire or join an oyster safari to one of our largest oyster beds in the middle of the national park. Your own car is required to participate in the tours. We start with a short introduction at the Wadden Sea Center, find our waders and other equipment, and then drive together to the day's oyster bed. The tours start in the morning as we are dependent on the tide. Afterwards, however, there is still enough time to explore our exhibition and enjoy a delicious lunch in our organic café.
