IMPORTANT: The tour is basically done in waders, as we have to go through a short water channel. You must be prepared that we may go through passages with a lot of mud, and the tour therefore requires a generally good fitness level. Waders are loaned by the Wadden Sea Center and are included in the price. Regular pants and possibly ski underwear are suitable under the waders.
Good to bring
- Wind and waterproof clothing (Waders are available for loan for the trip)
- Extra socks
- Drinking water and something to eat (water, fruit, chocolate)
- Backpack or bucket to carry oysters (buckets can be borrowed at the Wadden Sea Center)
- Gloves for handling oysters (can be borrowed at the Wadden Sea Center)
- Oyster knife (can be borrowed Wadden Sea Center)

This ticket entitles you to a 20 % discount on admission to the Wadden Sea Centre from two days before to two days after the tour. You must bring the ticket with you.
The organiser states
- To be eligible for a refund, cancellations must be made no later than 14 days before the tour.
- The booking fee is non-refundable.
- The Wadden Sea Centre may cancel the trip right up until the day before the trip due to high water levels or thunderstorms.
- We will endeavour to give as much notice as possible.
- You will need your own car for this trip.
